OUR STORY
welcome fellow being , We are skyle and genie and like most we grew up in households filled with anger , neglect and love you had to earn , So we escaped,not by running away although we thought about it , but by creating. In our heads, where we built worlds where we mattered, Magic was everywhere and community was loving.
But life caught up. Childhood faded, we traded school for work far too early and we traded stories for survival. We worked for places that didn’t even see us human We gave everything and still we had nothing.
Then something shifted. We couldn’t live another day accepting that this was all that there was , Thus Creation became our act of rebellion , Our way of proving we existed outside of the daily survival, outside of being a corporate cog and nobodies from the wrong side of the tracks.
Orchid & Oak was born from honouring the two lonely kids who dreamed of being more then a negative statistic about the uneducated and unsightly, because it doesn't matter who you are and where you come from, you are allowed to dream.

Here at orchid and oak we specialize in miniature spirit vessels , we craft each piece by hand, honoring the slow, deliberate process of creation. We package every sculpture in eco-friendly and compostable locally sourced materials.
Our sculptures serve as miniature guardians, housing protective companion spirits . Whether displayed on your desk, carried in your pocket, or cherished on a shelf, each piece becomes a personal talisman, a quiet presence that says: you are not alone.
